Aircraft
The CD 410-AS is a rotorcraft made of aluminium and partial stainless steel components. In difference to a helicopter is the rotor system of a Coptergyro free running and is not driven permanently, the rotor is set in motion by the airflow. The relative movement of the rotor blades opposite to the surrounding air produces the required lift. The propulsion is produced by a propeller drive. A hydraulic pre-rotation of the rotor enables a shorter take-off distance. The engine for the propeller drive delivers 135 hp. The rotor head consists of 4 blades. The CD 410-AS offers enough space for 2 adjacent seats for pilot and flight surveillance operator (FSO), as well as the technology necessary for analyzing the camera images. The cockpit has a heating and cooling system. The Aircraft is made in Germany and has been checked and accredited by the German Aviation Authorities.| Cruising speed | approx. 170 kph |
